We've been busy at The Motor Museum in Liverpool recording 3 new tracks with producer James Lewis. If you've been to see us recently you would have heard them. No Place Like Home, Up All Night and Helecopter Parents.

James was great to work with, we're extremely happy with how they've turned out, and excited by the news that Helecopter parents has been added to the Absolut Radio (formerly Virgin radio) evening playlist giving it full national exposure.

Ever since we lost a member a year ago and became a three piece by default we've been looking for the right person to join the band again. We've decided to start searching properly so if you or anyone you know would want to join Out From Animals, now is the time to get in touch.

# Preferably we're after a girl because we want to be able to work with a female vocal in OFA; but if the right guy comes forward then we'll consider. We're not just after a girl to look pretty though.
# You need to be able to sing, we want someone to be a 2nd vocalist, harmonies are where it's at.
# Keyboard/piano ability is a bonus or even guitar. You will be taking over on live electronics/samples.
# Finally, most importantly we need someone who's willing to commit to this band. We now have a manager and have a lot of things coming up including a support tour, recording an ep and European dates etc... all before the end of the year.

We've also just finished making the video for our single The National Curriculum. We made it ourselves entirely from digital photos. Go straight to our Media page to watch it. or YouTube and leave us a comment there.

We spent 5 days in February at Blueprint Studio in Manchester recording with producer Paul Tipler.It was the first time we've ever recorded anything properly and it was great to get the time to experiment a bit more. We recorded three tracks, two (The National Curriculum and Greed) are new versions of the old demos and a new song (It's Not Perfection).

On Monday June 16th we're releasing The National Curriculum as our first ever official release! We'll let you know the details as soon as they're confirmed but for now we need your help to get as many of your friends ready to download it!
